A cool case study this week! 😀

Case Study of the week:

I did a session last week for a new client, who just said that she wanted to know if the horse had any back pain, if there was something going on with him emotionally, and also if I could please apologise for what happened to him when he was 6 (no other details given).

I did the session as usual, which included my routine energy balancing and healing, as well as releasing some Trapped Emotions, trauma from weaning, and trauma from the event when he was 6.

There was a little back and forth with the owner, relating to his saddle and job, and I addressed both of those.

Well. He was ridden in a competition the next day, and the owner sent this feedback -

" Trisha!!! I am in awe and at a loss for words!

The difference has left me speechless... it's like it's a different horse. I wish I could send you a before and after video!

I had a nice chat with him before leaving for the show, and when I tacked him up I made sure he knew that it was the new saddle and that it had been made specially for him. He gave it a sniff and then proceeded to bite my scarf and pull me towards him, as if to tell me 'Get it on me!'.

Unfortunately, I did not get to experience what he was like riding, as my trainer jumped him at the show. But I know this horse like the back of my hand, I bought him as a 2-year-old and he is now 8. What I saw in the ring was something that I had been hoping and wishing for for the past 3 years. My trainer told me that he had never felt him like this and that it was such a big change he didn't even know what to do on him! :)

We have always had the problem of finding the right bit for him because he would always thrash his head left and right and throw his body up and down. But last night, he glided from one fence to another. No signs of stress or agitation, or any intention of stopping to the fence. There were no water jumps or water trays, so I'm curious what he'll feel like about those when he sees them now. But the difference has still left me speechless.

I cannot express to you how thankful and grateful I am. I honestly believe this horse has Olympic potential, but his mind and mentality always seemed to make him overthink and overcomplicate things and his body would then tense up and freeze. I honestly hope that he continues to be like this and that we improve together. It brings me happy tears to my eyes and I look forward to sharing so many beautiful moments together with him. "

So, what can I say about this... I'm pretty speechless myself, and so happy that I can help in this way.

One thing to note is that this is rarely a 'one and done' situation. If a horse has been a certain way (and energetically out of balance) for a long time, it's highly likely that they will need a few rebalances to help them maintain that new feeling. Rebalances / healing sessions usually get further and further apart as the horse learns to cope more by itself, and rebalance itself / stay in balance.

But it's still a huge example of what is actually possible with this type of energetic work! 💖
