End of year round up!

From my office:

To the many of you who've messaged saying 'I haven't received a newsletter for ages, am I still on the list?' - yes, and my apologies, lol. I've been pretty slack on the newsletter front this year!

All of my spare time (and then some 🤭 ) this year has been taken up with line dancing; I confess, I'm a tiny bit obsessed. I was a dancer as a kid, then married someone who doesn't dance... and now that I've rediscovered it (and line dancing doesn't need a partner!) there's no stopping me!

As a fairly anti-social introvert who's happy with their own company, I now have a whole heap of new friends and we travel all over the country to dance at different clubs. This year I even went to Australia for a big event, to learn from some of their top choreographers (see pic below; it's a hard life but someone's got to do it 😆)

So! That's why you haven't been seeing or hearing so much from me... Rest assured, I'm still here in the background, doing all the sessions in between the dancing, hehehe; it just leaves a little less time for the FB posts and newsletters.

Does your horse have optimal weight bearing posture?

Horses need to carry themselves correctly in order to be able to carry weight, ie us.

The results were actually pretty good which is encouraging (though I often wonder what some of these results would be like in the wider community, or with horses who's owners are less caring than you guys obviously are...)

Yes - 81%
No - 19%

Does your horse feel HEARD?

This was a small quick check:

Yes - 76%
No - 24%

Are YOU your horse's problem?

I did a pendulum check asking to what extent you are the problem with your horse...

Yes - 68%
No - 32%

For 10 of my Top Fans (there has to be some advantage to clicking to accept that badge, lol), I went deeper and checked the actual percentage that they are the problem.

3 were a big yes, measuring 70%, 75%, and 100% respectively!

The other 7 measured low at between 10-20%.

If you want to know if you're the problem, how much, and what your horse wants you to do about it, maybe it's time to book a session...

Gelding scars

At the end of November I did a quick pendulum check to see how many geldings had gelding scars adversely affecting them.

Yes - 53%
No - 47%

Pretty close - but still worth checking out and address as it can have a lot of effect on behaviour and performance. It's something that I do tend to check for in my sessions, and release any trauma and tension. Read the blog for more here.

People often ask me how long they should leave it before booking their next session.

It really depends on lots of factors (the horse's ability to keep themselves in balance, life changes, injury, finances etc). But, if in doubt quarterly check ups are a great way to go.

Not only does your horse / animal get a physical and energetic check up, rebalance, trauma clear, and healing, but you also get to ask all your burning questions to find out how they're doing, why they're doing what they're doing, and more.

Of course you can just book as and when you think they need it, but if you sign up for quarterly checkups (or whatever interval you decide on), you'll get automatic reminders from me - and, bonus, if my prices happen to go up, you'll be locked in at the price when you signed up 😀

With the option below, you pay just NZ$50 / month, and get a check up every 3 months.

Some other recent stats

22% of sessions booked with me are for some sort of Energy work only (ie not Animal Communication.) A lot of those are Human sessions, eg Intensive Healing, Trauma Clearing, Releasing Trapped Emotions etc (need to update my stats on that).

63% of sessions are booked by existing Clients! 🥳🙏

80% of the Oracle Card decks I sold this year were via Etsy! (Note, much cheaper to buy direct from me 😉)

24% of new clients come to me via Google searches, which is cool.

And here's an interesting one - HALF of you on this mailing list have never booked a session with me.... What gives??! 😅😘
