Hi - here's what's in this week's Equine Energetics Insider:

  • From my office - a new dog, and a new 'thing'!
  • Stat of the week, and a free pendulum check
  • Feedback of the Week
  • Animal Communication tip of the week
  • Useful links

From my office this week

A new member joined our family right before Xmas!  His name is Charlie, and he's an 11yo Pomeranian with a collapsing trachea.  (The local rescue knows by now that I'll take the older dogs / ones with issues that no-one else wants, lol.)  He's been a foster dog for the last year and now has his forever home with us.  He's been a joy so far; once I figure out what the heck to do with that coat we'll be all set, ha ha.

Otherwise, it's a quiet time of year for me here, as you're all busy catching up with family, going on hols etc - I really don't celebrate the holidays myself (Xmas in summer just isn't right, lol!), but I am looking forward to spending time with my parents who will be here for a few weeks.

It's pretty much business as usual - I'm still here for those of you needing all the usual Animal Communication sessions, including urgent checks, pre-purchase inspections (tis the season, down under), human healing sessions, tarot readings and more.

And, I'm working on something exciting in the background (writing that down hopefully commits me to making it happen ha ha) - a 'live' Healing Workshop where I'll be sharing some tips I've never shared before, and answering all your questions.  Stay tuned!

How's your horse's diet?

Diet and nutrition is something that's often on the minds of horse people, and I was curious to see some stats on how good horse's diets actually are.

So, last week I did a free pendulum check on my Facebook page.

I offered to check with my pendulum, from 0-5, how 'optimal' diets were, where 0 is not at all optimal and 5/5 is optimal.

Obviously this is not at all scientific, so should be viewed as 'fun', a curiosity, a confirmation of your suspicions, or a nudge to do something about your horse's diet!  I'd always recommend consulting your vet or equine nutritionist if you're concerned about your horse's diet and how it's affecting their weight, behaviour, health etc.

That said, I checked 55 horses (making an energetic connection with their photo and name), and the results were quite interesting:

5% (3 horses) tested 0/5.
9% were at 1/5, and
2% were at 2/5.

That means that the rest - 84% - actually tested 3/5 (average?) and up.

Half of them,42%, tested at a 4/5 or 5/5, which was a pleasant surprise!
I suppose it does help that the sort of people who follow me, and who would be interested to check such a thing, already have their horse's well being at the forefront of their mind 😉💝

So, if you missed out or would like me to check your horse (or pet!) with my pendulum, just click the button below and send me their pic and name.  One per person thanks.

If you get a low score, do review what you're feeding, and if you're concerned consult your vet or a qualified nutritionist.  It's also something I delve much deeper into in my Animal Communication sessions if you want to go that route, eg what needs to be added or removed, quantities and much more.

And if you get a high score, don't get complacent, we all know how quickly things can change depending on weather, grass, health, workload etc 😆

Feedback of the week:

After doing a joint Horse & Rider Tarot Reading for Mel and her horse Dallas last week, she sent me this reply -

"Omg I absolutely LOVE this.
I have a giant smile on my face. Thanks so much Trisha, this reading is spot on and exactly where we are both at. Love it.
"

These readings will be available til the end of January (to set you up for 2024).

Animal Communication Tip of the week:

This might fall more under 'relationship' than the woo woo kind of animal communication - it's still a good thing to think about though if you're trying to better understand your animals or improve your communication in whatever way.

I've written before about asking your animals for permission before you touch or work with them (read the blog here).

In a similar vein, notice whether / how much you give your horse or pets a choice when you're interacting with them.

With wee Charlie, he's been taught a command for 'up' (and loves to be picked up and carried).  However, with his throat issue, sometimes he really doesn't want to be touched.

I realised that if I asked 'up', and he doesn't lift his front feet of the ground, he doesn't want to be picked up right then.

Sometimes we might consider that to be them not listening, or nor obeying, being naughty - but sometimes it's the only way they can tell you 'I'd rather not right now'.  And sometimes - in fact probably most times... - that's ok.

So, are you listening to what they're trying to tell you?  Do they have a choice when you ask them to do something?

The more you can notice those sorts of nuances, the better the trust and communication between you will get!
